O PLUS E

Your loved one died and was cast into the very depths of hell. You struck a bargain with the gods to bring them back. All you have to do for both of you to be free—to live again—is walk out. Your loved one calls to you: they cry, they scream, they throw things. You cannot turn around, and you cannot tell them why.

O PLUS E is a solo journaling game where you document your thoughts as you walk the path to freedom;  with each step you reflect on your relationship with the person you are trying to rescue.

Equipment required:

- a way to document your thoughts

- a standard deck of playing cards

This game was something I’d been thinking about for a while as a fan of classic Greek tragedies, and was submitted as a part of the 1 Page RPG Jam 2025.
